Bible studies should be taught in church. Gun safety should be taught by an expert in gun safety at an appropriate venue, not by an elementary school teacher in a classroom. Darwin vs God...non-sequitur, nowhere in the bible does God mention evolution to anybody. The use of logic and critical thinking, as opposed to dogma should be applied in all subjects. Animal husbandry...seems to me to be more suited for high school and college level studies. Parental values are all over the map, depending on the parents and their brain power. I suspect there are values held by the parents of some students that you don't want mentioned in the classroom...just as there are values held by some parents that I don't agree with.
